Thank you for choosing K-Bot Factory. We strive to provide the highest quality in custom bot programming and hosting. Because our services involve digital content and custom technical labor, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both the consumer and the provider.
By making a purchase on https://kbot.jevi.es, you agree to the terms set forth below.
1. Definitions and Key Terms
To ensure maximum transparency, the following terms are defined as:
- Company: Refers to K-Bot Factory, owned and operated by Jesús Vílchez, based in Spain.
- Customer: The individual or entity that signs up for or purchases K-Bot Factory services.
- Service: The custom programming, deployment, and hosting of Discord bots as described on our platform.
- Digital Content: Data produced and supplied in digital form (the bot's code and functionality).
2. General Refund Policy (Digital Services)
In accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Spanish consumer law, the right of withdrawal (the standard 14-day "cooling-off" period) does not apply to the supply of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium if the performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
At K-Bot Factory, the provision of service (custom programming and server resource allocation) begins immediately upon order confirmation. Therefore, refunds are generally not offered once the deployment process has started.
3. Subscription Cancellations
If you have a recurring maintenance or hosting subscription:
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your user dashboard or by contacting us.
- Service Access: Upon cancellation, the service will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle. You will not be charged again.
- Unused Time: We do not provide automatic refunds for "unused time" within a billing cycle.
- Prorated Refunds: If you require immediate termination and removal of the service before the cycle ends, you may request a prorated refund for the remaining days. These requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are granted at the sole discretion of K-Bot Factory.
4. Exceptions and Service Failures
We stand by our work. A full or partial refund may be granted in the following specific scenarios:
- Non-Delivery: The agreed-upon services were not delivered within the promised timeframe.
- Significant Discrepancy: The final bot functionality is significantly different from the technical description provided at the time of purchase.
- Service Downtime: In the event of significant service outages (downtime) caused exclusively by K-Bot Factory’s infrastructure or programming faults.
- Note: This excludes failures caused by third-party platforms such as Discord API changes, Stripe processing errors, or user-side mismanagement.
- Unresolved Issues: If a technical fault is reported to our support team and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe (typically 14 business days).
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are strictly non-refundable:
- Services purchased during sales, seasonal promotions, or using discount/promotional codes.
- Initial setup fees for bots where the deployment process has already been completed.
- Any fees associated with "Addons" that have already been integrated into a live bot.
6. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, you must use one of the following channels:
- Email: Send an email to refunds@kbot.jevi.es.
- Discord: Open a Support Ticket in our official Discord Server.
Your request must include:
- Your Order ID or Transaction Reference.
- The Discord ID associated with the account.
- A detailed explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
7. Processing Timeline
Once a refund request is approved, the funds will be credited back to the original payment method used via Stripe.
- Refunds are typically processed within 10 business days after approval.
- Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the transaction to your account.
8. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes relating to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, Spain.
